Valentine’s Day is coming and I absolutely love to dress up for the holiday! (Well, as you all have seen with all my ‘Christmas Camo‘ in December, I love a theme!)
I usually do a post separately for each outfit, but life will be a bit busy in the next couple weeks, so I’ll be doing a BIG Valentine’s Day outfit inspiration post.
Hearts with Pink Pleated Skirt
This outfit is so cute and love the black and white with the pink pleated skirt. Actually, my ‘top’ is a dress from J.Crew Factory. The dress is a tulip-hem with the fun xoxo print. I wanted to break up that pattern and added the fun pink pleated skirt from Target. It made it look like two separate pieces for a really fun look! I’m wearing a XXS in the dress and XS in the pleated skirt.
I love this outfit! It’s a feminine look that you can wear on Valentine’s Day without being too over the top. This top has gorgeous sleeves with floral appliques and lace. I’m wearing XS and fits true to size. There are burgundy flowers in the sleeves to the top, so I thought to add a fun burgundy skirt. I’m wearing a XXS and fits true to size.
My earrings are Kate Spade from Rocksbox. Rocksbox is a monthly jewelry subscription where you can choose fun pieces of jewelry to rent and own if you like the pieces at a discounted price (if you like them enough to keep them). You can always send all three items back for new fun pieces. If you are interested in upgrading your jewelry collection and trying new items without having to pay full price, then this is a great option. Heart Print Blouse with Edgy Faux Leather Skirt
I decided to dig deep into my closet and find pieces that I have had for a while to make a fun look. It’s always fun (and affordable) to take different pieces from the closet and make new outfits. This heart print blouse is from 5 years (or maybe more) but I’ve kept it because it cute and love to wear it around Valentine’s Day. For an edgier look, I paired it with a fun faux leather pleated skirt. My shoes are from LOFT 3 years ago (similar pair) and wanted a fun feminine piece to tone down the faux leather skirt. The only “new” item I’m wearing are my fun heart earrings purchased from Nordstrom Rack (similar).
Shopping my closet is not always something I do, but I try to at least pair one older item with a new item to make the outfit pop!
L’amour Sweater with Tulle Skirt
Adding navy blue to a Valentine’s Day look is so fun and elegant. I’m wearing this fun Loft sweater from last season with a fun red tulle skirt. It’s such a fun girly look for a night out! I’m wearing a Small in the skirt. Ribbons and bows are fun elements to this outfit, such as these fun red earrings and beautiful velvet clutch.
This outfit is totally a Valentine’s Day look! I love the mixture of pink and red! So I bought this sweater (similar) in the fall so I could wear it on Valentine’s Day. Of course, I added the fun pop of red with this pleated skirt (similar).
I love to wear fun statement earrings so these heart earrings were a must! They are resin acrylic material and light weight.
How fun is this scalloped red purse! It’s from Target and it comes in a black and red heart print on white.
Another Valentine’s Day outfit with navy and red. My top and skirt are from last year (skirt) and shown here. I recently got my Red Hunter Boots for Christmas and I couldn’t wait to wear them! (thank you!!!😍) I am a true 9.5 in shoes but I size down to a size 9 in these boots.
Style tip: Adding a jean jacket to any outfit makes it casual and fun! Mine is from Old Navy and I’m wearing a XS.
Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out all the fun Valentine’s Day outfits! I hope this gives you inspiration to dress colorfully and bright and a Love day!
Have a LOVELY day!
